Time to say goodbye!

After 12 years together the story about Kite is about to end.
We have decided to not make any more gigs after year 2009 has come to an end. Which means that Kite won't exist after year 2010. We felt that it was time to make a decision whether we should continue with Kite or if we shouldn't. We didn't want to continue without ambitions. In a situation where we are living further from each other than ever before and when it's difficult to manage the time to keep up the band, our family and jobs we felt that it was time to say goodbye.

We are extremely thankful for what we have been able to do for God's kingdom during these years and we also wish to say a big thanks to all of our fans who has stayed with us during the years. We hope that our music will still live and inspire and encourage people even after we've gone.

Some of us will continue with music in other bands or musical constellations and you might not have seen the last of us yet...

Efter dryga 12 år tillsammans med nästan 200 konserter i bagaget börjar det bli dags för Kite att säga farväl.
Hösten 2009 blir sista chansen att se Kite live då man efter årskiftet beslutat att lägga ned bandet.

“Vi känner att det var dags att fatta ett beslut om att fortsätta satsa fullt ut eller att lägga ner.
Ett mellanläge kände vi inte för. Då vi har en situation där vi bor mer utspritt än någonsin men även för att få ihop livet med familj och arbete så känner vi att tiden inte räcker för ett heltidsengagemang.

Vi är enormt tacksamma för vad vi fått göra för Guds rike under dessa år och hoppas att vår musik kan fortsätta inspirera och uppmuntra människor även efter att vi slutat spela Live.

Vi hoppas att under hösten 2009 få träffa nya och gamla fans och arrangörer och hoppas därför på en del spelningar då...
