The light is lit and five well dressed men are bravely entering to the stage. They are quickly aiming for their instruments as a knight is drawn to his sword or as a bride is longing for her bridegroom. Some people from the audience has already taken their positions in front of the stage and the crowd is getting bigger while the bands music is filling the church. The audience is inspired by the seminars they have been visiting earlier on the day and they are in a perfect mood. A bit into the concert when the bands up-tempo song “Pray” is started, some persons are entering the stage to throw themselves into the audience like lemmings throwing themselves out from a cliff. Sven is almost pulled into the crowd by the enthusiastic audience and probably feels the same mixed enchantment as kids feel for the Gorg’s in the Fraggels.
As an extra performance the audience gets the privilege to hear a totally new song from the band. The name of the song is “Open or Ignore”. Now you can hear a word from the audiences mouth, a word repeated time after time. Do they with the mantra “drum solo” wish to step into a parallel reality or do they just want to hear a magnificent performance of the drummer?
The last mentioned thing seems to be their wish as the drums right after this is beated as unmerciful as Jesus was whip lashed by the Romans.
The Audience seems pleased with the concert and Kite’s CD-shop outside the concert-hall is well-visited.
