Finally we was on the road to have a gig again. It has been a while since the last gig, but finally it was time again. Korskyrkan in Mariestad was hard to find. At first we only managed to get to ”The nursing-assistance annual meeting”. After finding a map and after Josef defeated me in miniature golf at a cell phone we enter the parking lot outside Korskyrkan.
The night begins with a meeting where Jerry Gegerfeldt explains that everything isn’t like a highway for Christian people. Sometimes we face problems and strifes. I think that maybe Jesus says; ”It’s my way or the highway”. The road to Jesus is the narrow road and the highway is the wide one…
We are warming up with some bandy in the gym-hall located in the church and then we prepare ourselves for the concert. We receive a wonderful reception of the audience in the packed church-hall. After a while Emma and the boys dares to come to the edge of the stage. The audience wanted even more after our extra-performance and encouraged Simon to play a Drum solo, a request Simon almost never denies.
